The White House recently claimed on Twitter that there were no vaccines available when Biden took office.
That is just flat out wrong.
For an administration that claims to be worried about disinformation, the Biden folks sure are good at putting out falsehoods.
The New York Post reports:

Bull-shot!

The official White House Twitter account posted false COVID-19 information Thursday, wrongly claiming there was “no vaccine available” when President Biden took office in January 2021.
“When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available,” the verified account tweeted to its 7 million followers Thursday.
“In the last 15 months, the economy has created 8.3 [million] jobs and the unemployment rate stands at 3.6% — the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President’s term ever recorded,” the tweet concluded.

But eagle-eyed critics were quick to point out that the 79-year-old Biden actually received his first dose of the vaccine on December 2020 – a month before he moved in at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
One Twitter user even shared a photo of a masked Biden getting the jab.
“Today, I received the COVID-19 vaccine,” read the president’s original tweet from Dec. 21, 2020. “To the scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly to make this possible – thank you. We owe you an awful lot. And to the American people – know there is nothing to worry about. When the vaccine is available, I urge you to take it.”

Here’s the correction:
We previously misstated that vaccines were unavailable in January 2021. We should have said that they were not widely available.
Vaccines became available shortly before the President came into office. Since then, he’s responsible for fully vaccinating over 200 million people. https://t.co/rHJ0GZ63Dy

Lies sure come easily to this administration.
