President Ulysses S. Grant who is best known for being the general that led the Union to be victorious over the South, and President trump have something in common.
Trump and Grant will be the only two American presidents that have ever been arrested.
Grant was arrested in 1876 when he was arrested for speeding in his buggy.
He was even placed in handcuffs!
As of right now its unknown if the Manhattan DA will place Trump in cuffs but to do the media a favor they probably will.

Here’s what the Daily Mail reported:
Donald Trump will become the first US president since Ulysses S Grant to be arrested after a Manhattan grand jury voted Thursday to indict him on charges relating to a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.
The bombshell indictment comes after the 45th president announced that he was expecting to be arrested earlier this month by New York authorities after his lawyers paid Daniels a total of $130,000 to keep quiet about their alleged affair.
Trump, 76, has been dogged by legal scandals in recent years, but has never before been arrested in connection to any criminality.
He will be the first president to be put into handcuffs since 19th century leader Ulysses S. Grant was pulled over for speeding in his horse and buggy. The 18th president was pulled over by a police officer in 1876, with officer William West telling him: ‘Duty is duty sir, and I will have to place you under arrest.’

Per the New York Post:
Donald Trump on Thursday became the first former president ever to be indicted — though over 150 years ago a sitting president, Ulysses S. Grant, was arrested for speeding in his horse-drawn carriage.
Trump was indicted by a grand jury in Manhattan related to hush-money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election. He’s expected to surrender and be arraigned next Tuesday, sources told The Post.
While a criminal case has never been brought against an ex-US president, back in 1872, Grant — the military general who won the Civil War for the Union, faced his own trouble with the law when he was a sitting president.
Grant was busted for speeding in his carriage at the corner of 13th and M streets in Washington D.C. when he was a sitting president, according to a report published at the turn of the century, the Washington Post reported.
