Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has faced plenty of backlash over her controversial public statements and tweets.
Most recently, she offended many Christians with her reaction to a viral video depicting a religious singalong aboard a recent flight.

In addition to the many pundits who slammed her tweet, at least a few of her colleagues also expressed outrage.

Omar responded to Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), as reported by Indy 100:
Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert later tweeted a “shoutout” to Omar, and said her “anti-Christian hate helped propel a song praising Jesus to 33 million views over Easter weekend.”
Responding, Omar accused Boebert of being a “religious bigot” and told her she would pray for her.
Omar wrote: “Anti-Christian hate? You need to stop projecting your bigotry. Religious bigots like you always think others hold the same hate they have in their hearts.
“It’s Ramadan and I am gonna pray for y’all. May God cleanse your hearts.”
Of course, Boebert was hardly the only prominent politician who railed against Omar’s remarks.

Omar released a more general response to those who were offended by her original tweet.
According to the New York Post:
Omar incurred the wrath of several conservatives pundits and Republican candidates.
The progressive firebrand responded in a tweet Monday, writing: “And the original snowflakes had a complete and glorious meltdown.”
The video – captioned “Worshipping Jesus 30,000 feet in the air” — was shot and posted on Instagram on April 9 by Jack Jensz Jr., who founded a group called Kingdom Realm Ministries, according to TMZ.
“#Jesus is taking over this Flight,” he wrote.
Several Republicans ripped Omar for expressing anti-Christian sentiment.
Omar was previously pressured to issue a public apology for statements deemed to be antisemitic.
